Ink is recruiting for an ideas-driven, highly-motivated magazine editor to manage WIZZ’s bimonthly inflight magazine. The editor will be responsible for creating fresh and inspirational content packed with insider tips and entertaining stories from WIZZ’s unique route network. The ideal candidate will have min. 3 years of magazine publishing experience, and be a keen team-player who thrives on collaborating with the art director to take the magazine to the next level.

Responsibilities include:

· Evolving the magazine’s identity to be on-brand for the Wizz travel audience.

· Taking full ownership of the title, from inception through to print - creating captivating story lists, commissioning and writing copy and managing the production workflow.

· Successful account management and close liaising with the client on their marketing objectives.

· Supporting and working with the commercial team.

· Collaborating with the art director to produce a creatively striking print product that stands out in the market place with engaging digital spin-offs.

· Producing the magazine on time and within budget to the full satisfaction of the client.

· Managing freelancers from subeditors to writers, applying an expertly editoral polish to ensure a consistent tone of voice

Required skills:

· Three years editing or dep-editing a consumer / lifestyle or travel print title.

· A can-do approach, well-organised, creative and calm under pressure with an eye for a good story.

· Experience in travel writing and ability to commission to a tight brief and small budget.

· Existing contacts with international journalists and solid travel writers.

We have created the role of Marketing Manager to design and deliver a marketing strategy as we set out to double the size of our already successful global business.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing, executing and refining targeted, organic and automated marketing campaigns that result in high-quality Business Development and Media Sales leads. To oversee and manage an existing Marketing Executive, as they develop and implement your new plan. Responsibilities:

  • Proven project management skills and ability to perform under pressure
  • Track record in working with the commercial arm of a business and delivering increased sales
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; religious attention to detail & quality
  • Experience supporting large sales organizations in a growth environment
  • Strong CRM, demand generation, and lead lifecycle/nurturing/management experience

Graphic Designer

American Airlines, the world’s largest airline, has an opportunity for a talented designer to work out of the Miami office on both American Way and Celebrated Living magazines. These magazines, created by Ink publishing, reach up to 16 million passengers a month.

It’s vital that the candidate be accustomed to striving for excellence. We want someone who is inspired by producing beautiful print magazines. They must be both creative and collaborative, and feel confident working on projects from the ground up. Organizational skills are a must, as is the willingness to work on a small, adaptable team.

The Role:

  • Day-to-day design of the magazines, assisting with photo shoots and commissioning artwork 
  • Working with editors and art director in the planning and production of the titles

  • Ensuring that the work is of the highest standard

Desired Skills

What you'll Love Doing:

  • Sell multi-platform advertising (print, digital, TV) by talking to buyers, C-Level executives and key decision makers on a daily basis

Ink, the world’s largest travel media company, is looking for a motivated and dynamic Art Director to join our award-winning team on the American Airlines account. Publications include main-cabin American Way, Spanish/Portuguese Nexos and premium cabin Celebrated Living.

We’re looking for someone with flair and creative passion. They must have a friendly can-do attitude, be inclusive with their ideas and deliver great content. The position is deadline- driven, so they must be comfortable working within a fast-paced environment, across multiple titles.

Responsibilities

You will be:

  • art directing photoshoots where needed
  • art directing and leading the design of all creative for the American Airlines account
  • working with the picture desk to organize all photoshoots and image call-ins 
  • working closely with the editors to plan and execute each magazine
  • working with in-house and overseas production teams to ensure delivery of designed files in a timely manner
  • managing the creative budget

Skills

A successful candidate must have:

  • minimum 8-years’ experience art directing

  • proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

  • have a great contacts book

  • strong background in commissioning illustrators and photographers

  • experience working across multi-platforms
